We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to raise the bar at this upmarket dealership. In this hands-on role, you’ll oversee all aspects of facility operations, leading a skilled team to ensure everything runs flawlessly from wash bay operations to routine maintenance. Your role will be key in upholding high safety standards and staying compliant with Health and Safety regulations. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in building or property maintenance, a strong track record in team management, and a solid set of handyman skills, including electrical work, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential, as you’ll put them to work daily in this active, hands-on role. Be ready to handle maintenance tools, tackle outdoor projects, work comfortably at heights, and ensure this dealership maintains its premium standards.

Job Requirements

Matric Certificate

A valid Drivers License and own transport

5 years of hands-on experience in building or property maintenance

Proven track record in managing maintenance staff or facilities operations

Strong generalist handyman skills in electrical, paintwork, plumbing, woodwork, and mechanical repair

Excellent Communication skills in both English & Afrikaans (Verbal & Written)

Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills

Ability to lift, carry, and operate tools and heavy equipment 

Flexibility to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor, washbay and workshop areas

Ability to climb ladders and operate on roofs

Reside in or around the Stellenbosch area
