Our client, a respected and well-established automotive group with a reputation for excellence, is seeking a 2IC to the Group Operations Manager. This role is ideal for someone early in their career journey who is hungry to prove themselves, ambitious to grow into a senior leadership role, and dynamic enough to handle both financial and operational responsibilities. The right candidate will be financially astute, operationally sharp, and unafraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
This is a hands-on, high-exposure position where no two days will look the same. Working closely with the Group Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring dealerships across the group are operating smoothly, profitably, and in line with compliance standards. Your responsibilities will include visiting sites to oversee daily operations, checking facilities, safety standards, and dealership upkeep, getting involved in operational challenges and resolving issues efficiently, assisting with financial processes such as account reconciliations, commissions, and payroll checks, supporting managers across the group to maintain operational efficiency and act as a key problem-solver and the right-hand support to the Group Operations Manager, stepping in wherever needed. To be apply for this position, you must have proven experience in a similar position (motor industry experience is highly preferred), hold a Business or Financial Degree, and ideally have exposure to dealership systems such as Keyloop, Drive, Kerridge, or Autoline.
