We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Bookings Clerk to join a luxury dealership representing vehicles known for their toughness, smart technology, and unmistakable go-anywhere attitude. In this role, you’ll play an important part in keeping the workshop running smoothly, from managing bookings and handling customer calls to coordinating transport, supporting workshop productivity, and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell, you’ll be at the heart of the daily flow, you’ll also take care of the admin behind the scenes, making sure everything is accurate, organised, and on track. Your days will be busy and varied, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in delivering great service. To be considered, you’ll need at least 2 years of experience as a Bookings Clerk within a franchised motor dealership, ideally in a premium brand environment, you’ll also need: working knowledge of a Dealer DMS, to be fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (a third South African language is a bonus), a warm, professional customer service style, both on the phone and in person and some mechanical knowledge, which would be a real advantage.
Job Requirements
Matric Certificate
A valid Drivers License
Must have at least 2 years of recent Bookings Clerk experience in a franchised dealership
Working knowledge of a DMS
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Fully Bilingual (English & Afrikaans, and a third South African language is a bonus)
Good organisational and time management skills
Good upselling and cross selling skills
Some mechanical knowledge (Advantageous)
A stable work history
Reliable and contactable references
