Our client, a fresh, state-of-the-art workshop, is fully equipped to service all vehicle brands, from older models to the latest releases. As a Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for performing services, maintenance, and repairs across a wide range of vehicles. We are ideally looking for someone with Team Leader experience who demonstrates strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide and support the workshop team. To apply you’ll need solid knowledge of both older and newer model vehicles, hands-on experience using various diagnostic tools across different brands, you must hold a valid South African ID and have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience as a Technician in a reputable workshop, have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, excellent communication in both English and Afrikaans, and a work ethic as strong as your torque wrench, you should take pride in precision, pay close attention to detail, and speak the language of both cars and people. and understand what it takes to deliver excellence, and be looking for a rewarding position that offers growth, teamwork, and technology.
Job Requirements
Motor Mechanics Certificate
A valid Drivers License and own transport
At least 2 years of RECENT Motor Vehicle Technician experience in a reputable and recognised workshop
Some Team Leader experience ( Highly Advantageous)
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Well-groomed and presented
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and mentoring skills
Have a clear understanding of the duties, responsibilities, and professional etiquette expected of a Technician and Team Leader
Working knowledge of diagnostic tools for all brands
Familiarity with new and old model vehicles
A stable and gapless work history
