***THIS POSITION REQUIRES RECOGNISED WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE***

 A busy and well-known auto electrical and mechanical workshop, with a strong track record working with the City of Cape Town, is looking for a semi-skilled Auto Electrician to join their team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Floor Manager as the 2IC, so  you’ll need to stay active on the workshop floor ensuring all team members are busy and doing their jobs properly, checking the quality of work, and helping out with any jobs the qualified Auto Electrician doesn’t get to. What you need to apply: At least 2 years of relevant experience working in a reputable workshop, hands-on experience with starters, alternators, wiring, air-conditioning, fault finding, and working with 12v to 24v systems, experience working on passenger vehicles, LDVs, refrigeration trucks, and commercial trucks, must speak both English and Afrikaans, able to work well alone and as part of a team, open to learning from senior staff and ability to start immediately and work weekend shifts, which includes Sundays. Job Requirements
Matric Certificate
A valid Drivers License
At least 2 years of proven experience in a reputable workshop

Experience in a Workshop 2IC position

Experience working on passenger vehicles, LDVs, refrigeration trucks, and commercial trucks
Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
Ability to work in a team  
A solid track record
A stable and gapless work history
