*THIS POSITION REQUIRES MOTOR DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE*

 We are urgently searching for an experienced and self-assured Valuator/Buyer to become part of a thriving franchised used car dealership. You’ll be responsible for evaluating and pricing vehicles, both trade-ins and direct purchases.  Although this is largely an office-based position, you’ll play a crucial role in sourcing high-quality vehicles, which means attending auctions or visiting wholesale depots when required. To really be ideal for this role, you must have an up-to-date understanding of trade-in values and market shifts, the ability to detect accident damage with accuracy, and a strong grasp of product mix and fast-moving stock and have the ability to work in close partnership with the sales and management teams to ensure the dealership always carries the right mix of stock. A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a dealership environment is essential, and exposure to premium brands will be a significant advantage. This is a pivotal role where your judgment and expertise will directly shape the dealership’s success. You’ll need to be proactive, commercially savvy, detail-oriented, and equipped with excellent people and sales skills.

Job Requirements
Matric Certificate
A valid Drivers License
Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
2+ years of Vehicle evaluation and/or buying experience in a reputable dealership (premium brand advantageous)

Experience attending auctions

A keen eye for detail

On top of current trade-in values and market trends

A sales background would be a huge advantage

A stable and continuous work history
