A modern and ever-changing motor group with a large stock hold is on the lookout for a reliable, fit and proactive Stockyard Fleet Controller to take full ownership of vehicle stock across their dealerships.  In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and tracking all new and used vehicles in the stockyard, ensuring they are correctly parked, moved, and stored, while coordinating vehicle movements between dealerships and dealership departments. You’ll handle vehicle check-ins and check-outs, maintain accurate records, and ensure the yard is always neat, organised, and presentable. You’ll also assist with preparing vehicles for delivery, ensuring everything is ready on time, and the stockyard is always running perfectly. To apply, you must have at least 2 years of vehicle stock or fleet controller experience, with previous dealership experience being highly advantageous, be someone with strong attention to detail, great communication skills, and the ability to take initiative and always be ready.  This is not a desk-bound role, it’s active, dynamic, and constantly evolving and is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organised, working with vehicles, people and data and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Job Requirements

Matric Certificate

A Valid Drivers License

2 years of Vehicle Stock Control or Fleet Control experience (franchised motor dealership highly beneficial)  

Computer literate- Working knowledge of Excel, and have the ability to pick up computer systems quickly

Fully fluent in English & Afrikaans

Great communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment

Physically fit and prepared to work outdoors
