***THIS POSITION REQUIRES FITMENT CENTRE EXPERIENCE***
Our client is a vibrant, fast-paced, proudly all-in-one service centre, where your expertise truly matters. They’re looking for a hands-on, physically fit Workshop Manager who can bring a little extra horsepower to every day. To apply, you’ll need a minimum of 2 years of Workshop Management experience in a Fitment Centre, strong knowledge of electronic diagnostic tools and mechanical repair processes, and either a MIWA-recognised Red Tag qualification or equivalent semi-skilled experience. You should come with solid automotive repair experience, excellent time management, organisational and leadership abilities, sharp attention to detail and quality control, strong communication skills, and a natural ability to lead, mentor, motivate, and supervise a busy team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping diagnostics and repairs efficient, accurate, and on point; ensuring quality workmanship and maintaining high safety standards; coordinating the workshop and supervising staff to keep workflow smooth; managing efficient quoting and smart time management; ensuring compliance with MIWA occupational standards, workshop procedures, and company policies; and delivering above average customer experience through honest communication and reliable repairs. Job Requirements
A MIWA-recognised Red Tag qualification
A valid Drivers License and own transport
At least 2 years of Workshop Management experience in a reputable Fitment Centre
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Well-groomed and presented
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Experience working on all makes and models, from old-school vehicles to the latest vehicle,s including EVs
Excellent technical insight and diagnostic skills
Physical ability to perform manual mechanical tasks when required
A stable and gapless work history
